Power Point and Word comes on a separate CD and I think you never installed them because you never used them. Deleting the programs is not easy and can't happen by accident because they can only be removed from Add/Remove programs in the control panel. Accidentally you can delete a file or two and these programs have folders and many many files and icons.

Windows CD is separate. If you just have windows CD then you have to buy a CD which says Microsoft Office and then install it.

Usually you find them at C:\program files\microsoft office.
1.click start

2.click programs

3.click accessories

4.click system tools

5.click system restore
Re-install from the CD.
do a search on your computer for each program. the search is in the start menu.
They should be in the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11

(if you are using Office 2003). The file names are winword.exe and powerpnt.exe.

If they are not there, you'll have to reinstall
If you wave Windows XP go to Control Panel - Add/delete programs. It will pull up a list of all the programs you currently have installed. If they don't show up you will need to reinstall office.
