Because they have earned lots of money with the older software and operating systems and now they can't be bothered to make a decent OS. Take Vista for example its the Cr@ppiest OS of them all. Except XP, which is very good. Thats one of the good thing Microsoft have made.

All the windows PCs I have had over the years are still running as good as ever. I take care of them, like changing the oil on a car. It's not like a toaster.

Think Microsoft should pull out of the EU. Plenty of business in Asia.
I hate how they try to make everything so ''helpful''. There is always so much automatic crap in things like word and excel that you waste so much time trying to fix and undo the things that the programs do automatically. When what you want is something really simple, it can't give it to you...

Same reason why everything else 'made in the USA' is crap....rich people only care about making a buck and say to hell with everything else. Quality really isn't even an issue anymore.
